So..., I once tried to read Wurthering Heights after an aunt gave the book to me. But, alas, I could not get into it. Seems the same for your opera experience.

I've never attended an opera and doubt I ever will, but I can appreciate those who have the vocal abilities to perform this type of music.

Audrey, if you ever get the chance, opera is really fun. I don't listen to opera cds, but seeing it staged is an entirely different experience.
