Minnesota Prairie Roots

Looks like you found a gem in this museum. I like the idea of a traveling exhibit in a smaller museum. Do you know the source of this traveling exhibit? That's a great idea for outstate Minnesota museums.

That last photo of the carving, is, I believe, something called fretwork and is done with a saw. Beautiful work.

I love that the curators have figured out that history didn't end in 1900. They recognize that there are recent immigrants to the county, from both other countries and from urban areas, and that they will continue to shape Carver County's history.
