Here is a great website which takes the classic Gordon Lightfoot song about the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald, which sank 30 years ago today, and uses the lyrics as a springboard to discuss what happened. Thanks to Kathy for posting this link.

Back a million and six years ago when I worked in radio, we used to play this song on the anniversary every year (cuz I live in Duluth...). It is rather ghostly and creepy when you hear it in that perspective.
