Why, yes, you're right--it's a set of Addi Turbos. A set of Turbos which, up until last night, haven't been free of yarn since, oh, Memorial Day.
And here? Yes--stitch markers. That up until last night, had not been off those Addi Turbos since, oh, Memorial Day.
This? Yes--dental floss! Used dental floss! But untouched by human mouth! (I may not be much of a housekeeper, but even I don't put dental floss that's been in my mouth on a chair. I know it belongs in the garbage. Really.) Yup...lifeline floss. A lifesaver. Sanity saver. Having nobly completed its mission, it's ready to meet it's messier counterpart in the garbage.
Cozy has left the Turbos.
As of last night, Cozy came off the needles and had its ends all patiently woven in. All that's left is blocking.
Boy. What a journey that was. It's the first time since I started knitting that I stayed with one project, and one project only, from beginning to end. But I loved, loved, loved this pattern and yarn, and I love, love, love the outcome. It doesn't seem like a lot to show for a summer's worth of work, but I don't love it any less.
A shout-out to Deb, who helped me immensely by making sure I picked the right yarn for me and who made sure I got off on the right start by walking me through lace knitting, giving me lots of tips and pointing me in the direction of great knitted instructions. Thanks, dear!
