KMKat wants to know what's on your computer screen! Specifically, what wallpaper you have. Here's mine:
Haworth Parsonage, home to the lovely Bronte sisters. Yes, that is a cemetery in their front yard. No, I don't consider it morbid to have this as my wallpaper. You forget. I'm a Bronte-aholic. And I have actually visited the above Parsonage in real life. It was COOL. Forget those pseudo-historical sites: "And now here are some things which are rather like the things that probably existed in this time period." No, at the Bronte Parsonage, they say things like, "Here is the sofa where Emily died." Not "here is a sofa similar to what the Brontes might have had," but "Here's where Emily died. Right on this sofa." You can't beat that for authenticity.
While there, I attempted to walk out to Top Withens, the site considered to be the inspiration for Wuthering Heights. Here's a photo from the Haworth website:
But the weather was--well, wuthering. Wuthering is serious. Cold. Windy. Blustery. And I was dressed for sunny and 70, since that's what the weather had been until I got to Haworth. So no Top Withens for me. Maybe next time.
