I've been kind of crazy busy as of late. Regular work; moving towards a book deadline; knitting away at a decent but boring-looking sweater; keeping up with regular life. So I've decided, for the time being, to send Knit Think off on sabbatical. I'm not saying it's permanent, but time is getting stretched very thin. I hope you'll keep me on your reader feeds, and I'll still by lurking on your blogs, so don't say anything mean about me! I'll still be posting over at Flyover Land and New Century Reading.
In the meantime, you remember my friends Don and Brad, and how they commissioned Heidi and I to knit them scarves. The final deal of the pact was for Don and Brad to make Heidi and I dinner, which they did this week.
Poutine. Homemade French fries topped with cheese curds (nice, fresh, squeaky cheese curds), beef and gravy.
My arteries may not thank them, but the rest of me is still dreaming about this plate o' heaven.

People keep telling me about Poutine, and I've gotten sort of a thing about it now... have I lived if I've never had Poutine?

That sounds delicious.
Sometimes sabbaticals are necessary but don't forget, as long as Google Reader (etc) exist, you can pop back in any time.

Now, I know you guys aren't food stylists - but before you said that was poutine (or as Guillaume Latendresse was interpreted as saying in a recent interview, "puddin'"!) - I thought you had a plateful of sticks and rocks!
And? I, for one, am going to miss your Friday posts.

A blog can take up a lot of time. Enjoy your break but come back soon!

Fair seas and following winds to you! (I think that is what my former USNavy husband says as a blessing.) I shall continue to follow your other blogs.
